How we look after your information.

We're South Coast Website Design, an Australian web design business based on the South Coast of NSW. This page explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website or work with us as a client.

What we collect

From the contact form: your name, business name (optional), email address, phone (optional) and the message you send us. We use this information to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to communicate about your project.

From your visit: standard web server logs (date/time, IP address, browser, page visited), and analytics through Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects anonymised data about how people use the site - pages viewed, rough location, device and how you found us - so we can see what's working and improve it. It's aggregate information and we don't use it to identify you personally. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser, or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

No one. We don't sell, rent or share your information with anyone. The only third parties we use are:

• Google Analytics for anonymised website analytics, as described above.
• SMTP2GO for delivering form submissions to our inbox.
• Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on the contact form. Turnstile checks your browser's behaviour to confirm you're a real person, without showing a CAPTCHA. It does not collect personal information.
• Our Australian hosting provider, with servers in Sydney, for serving the website.

How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are kept indefinitely so we can refer back to project history if you become a client. If you'd like us to delete your enquiry, just email contact@southcoastwebsites.com.au and we will.

Your rights

Under Australian privacy law you can ask to see what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@southcoastwebsites.com.au any time.

Changes

If we change anything about how we handle data, we'll update this page. The current version is dated May 2026.
